Dialog history lost
These informations were revealed due to a complaint lodged by a customer who had bought Roaming facility from Dialog 12 years ago by depositing 35,000 Rupees.
The complainer is a top level official in an electronic media and as the dialog company does not keep deposits, he has asked for his 12 year old deposit.
And the Dialog company had told the customer that if the receipt of the deposit is with him then the money can be returned.
And pointing out the fact that no one would keep a receipt for 12 years, the customer had requested the company to check their data base and do justice for him.
And in response, the Dialog company had told him that due to constant changes of the administration, the data has been lost.
It is also said that he is not the only customer who has faced difficulties due to these incidents of data loss.
It is also said that Dialog has been accused of protecting the privacy of its customers.
