HOMOSEXUAL WORKSHOP AT ANURADHAPURA SACRED CITY
It is very regrettable to learn that a homosexual workshop is in force at a place like the Anuradhapura sacred city. This was told by a high official of an institution which is anti homosexual.
It is learnt that on the 12th of this month close to the ‘Atamasthana’ or the ‘Eight’ sacred places are located a resident homosexual institution has been opened in a hotel for the purpose of a homosexual learning and training which has caused a lot of deep concern and regret by this official in this anti homosexual institution.
Although in western countries this is a commonly heard a county like in Sri Lanka, homosexuality is prohibited and not legalised and it is very astounding to note that this type of illegal activity has started at a very sacred place close to the ‘Eight’ sacred places in Anuradhapura. This cannot be accepted at all and it is setting up a very bad example to the Buddhism as well as to the country as a whole.
It is learnt that there are around 700 persons who are engaged in homosexual activities in the entire Anuradhapura district, which is not relatively a large amount for an institution to be established. It is learnt that there are certain foreign powers who spend millions of rupees on these promotions and try to spend a large sum of money to attract those not in the field to get interested in homosexual activities.
This is worst matter than a male and female relationship. There could be more dangerous deceases that would be acquired through homosexuality activities were stressed by this high official of the anti homosexual institution which decease is incurable A common decease had been discovered in America it is learnt from physician in that country. In the period between 1983 and 1984 a Sri Lankan had been identified after been indulged in homosexual activities with a foreigner.
It is learnt that about 20 persons of varied ages could be accommodated at a given moment of time at this centre and they are provided with all possible facilities.
