| Police officers raided brothel house at Chavakatchcheri, Jaffna short while ago.Police arrested two women and men at the restaurant (Niro)located near the Chavakatchcheri old police station. TNA Municipal Council Mayor Theysasagayampillai, Municipal Council member Kishore, TNA youth forum leader Nishanthan have provided information’s to police officials on this brothel house. During the time of raid heat argument broken out between restaurant owner and police officers. Police arrested two couples. During the time of investigations it was revealed 20 years old girl resident of Puttur and 30 years old woman resident of Pandatharippu were brought up on promising to grant employment with highest wedge. 23 years old boy resident of Nunawila and 41 years old currently detained at the police station. Mayor of the Chavakatchcheri Municipal Council has taken steps to seal the restaurant. |
