Young doctor accused for having sex with a pregnant woman in hospital
The Attorney General had ordered a case to be filed at Colombo’s Magistrate courts against a young doctor Vishan Jayashantha Paranamana a 34 year old doctor when a complaint had been lodged by the pregnant ladies husband that this doctor when she was admitted for her confinement to the Sri Jayewardenapura hospital.
This incident had occurred in the month of September 2009 when she was admitted to the Sri Jayewardenapura hospital for her confinement. This doctor had taken the pregnant lady to room early morning and has had sex with her The doctors intention had been to get sexual satisfaction from the pregnant lady. This is what they had been made in the charge sheet. The pregnant lady had informed her husband after the incident who had complained about it to the Child and Women Protection authority that had referred the matter to the Attorney General, who had instructed to file action
