� Sri Lankan IPL cricketers to participate in IPL tournament despite threats

On the coming 3rd of April the well renowned Indian IPl cricket tournament is scheduled to commence. For this tournament Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardena, Lasith Malinga along with 13 other Sri Lanka cricketers are to take part in different teams.
As the Indian LTTE supporters have made protests about the participation of the Sri Lankan cricketers from the IPL and even requested them of their withdrawal.
In this connection the Sri Lankan Cricketers Association has requested for their protection internationally
In this regard a letter has been submitted to the International Cricketers Association.
