Woman arrested smuggling heroin into prison
A woman, who had attempted to smuggle heroin into the Galle prison to give to an inmate, has been arrested.
Prison authorities stated that she was carrying about 1.670 grams of heroin when entering the premises. The suspect is to be presented to the Galle Magistrate’s court by the Galle police.
