Four leading companies have been fined for selling products with false advertising
The Avissawela Magistrate Courts have fined Rs. 70,000 for 04 companies who did advertising which influenced the customers on the wrong path.
The fine was for 04 products included washing liquid, capsules, etc.
The Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena has stressed that it is prohibited to advertise a perfume without written approval.
Colombo Food and Drug Inspector Wickramasekara Bandara has taken action to implement the law against them
