Duty free shop owners refuse to go to Mattala
A request had been made by the Civil Aviation authority to commence the opening of duty free shops at the newly opened Mattala airport complex. The owners and companies of these duty free shops have refused the request.
They have rejected the offer owing to a number of reasons. One is the very much less patronage and the other reason is the absence of sufficient infra structure facilities and various other reasons.
