Old boys clash at Ananda-Nalanda annual big match at SSC
The Ananda-Nalanada annual cricket encounter was played at the Sinhalese Sports club grounds at Maitland Place. Play had to be abandoned as about one thousand spectators clashed with each other. The Police had to use tear gas to disperse this angry mob.
