‘Miss Earth’ visits Sri Lanka

The ‘International Miss Earth’ title holder Olga Mercedes Alava Vargas was in Sri Lanka during the weekend.
Her visit coincided with the Sri Lankan edition of the ‘Miss Earth’ beauty pageant.
During her visit, Olga has visited Kandy, Matara as well as the Pinnawala elephant orphanage.
She has also attended the battle of the Blues.
Vargas, an Ecuadorian model, won the title in 2011 and has been actively engaged in environmental awareness campaigns since then.
