Marking the maximum number of tourists who visited Sri Lanka this year the 950,000^thtourist arrived at the Katunayake International Airport, yesterday (17).

Accordingly a Polish woman named Agtha Dziekan was named the 950,000^th tourist who arrived in the country with her husband Ku Jawa.

To celebrate this occasion the Tourism Promotion Bureau has gifted the couple with a three day complimentary stay at any hotel in the country of their choice along with a tour to visit Sri Lanka’s places of tourist attractions.
