Deepika Padukone endorses Garnier, becomes Bollywood's highest paid actress
Riding high on the success of “Cocktail,” Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is making hay while the sun shines. As reported on Dec. 6, Ms. Padukone signed a major endorsement deal with a skincare company , leaving behind several prominent Bollywood actresses with the remuneration.
The hottest buzz that has rocked B-Town is Deepika’s endorsement deal with Garnier for a whopping amount of Rs. 6 crore, beating contemporary Kareena Kapoor’s Rs 4 crore ad deal. “This makes her one of the highest paid actresses in Bollywood currently,” reports NDTV.
Excited with her current opportunity, the 26-year old actress says , "I'm already a fan of Garnier's skincare range and it is an honour to be associated with the brand. Garnier has done some phenomenal work in the beauty space. Through my association with Garnier I hope to help women across the country obtain the perfect looking skin they're all in search off."
Garnier currently has Priyanka Chopra as its celebrity face. Sharing their thoughts on signing Deepika to endorse the brand, Nathalie Gerschtein, General Manager, said, "We are thrilled to have Deepika as the ambassador on Garnier Skin Naturals. She represents the young, contemporary and intelligent Indian woman."
