Woman dumps newborn baby in toilet
It is said that the body was found following a search carried out according to information received by the Teldeniya Police and that the infant’s mother has been arrested over the incident.
She had confessed to police that she had given birth to the child on August 29 and dumped the infant down the toilet pit on the same day.
The woman is scheduled to be produced before court while the Teldeniya Police is conducting further investigations.
