SriLankan Airlines considering flights to more Indian destinations
A delegation from Sri Lanka's national carrier SriLankan Airlines is scheduled to visit Visakha-patnam in India on September 11 to study the potential demand for operation of flights from that city to Colombo.
According to a report in Indian daily The Hindu, members of the delegation are slated to interact with airport officials, tour operators, and business leaders to study the potential and make a recommendation to launch operations based on the demand.
The Sri Lankan carrier is reportedly planning to operate flights either to Hyderabad or Visakhapatnam from Colombo in the near future.
