Singer Justin Bieber has become the latest celebrity to sign up for a space flight with Virgin Galactic.
The company, owned by entrepreneur Richard Branson, expects to start running journeys into space from 2014.
Justin Bieber will be joined on the trip by his manager, Scooter Braun.
Richard Branson tweeted: "Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!"
"Let's shoot a music video in SPACE!! #nextLEVEL," he wrote in reply to Richard Branson.
Other famous passengers rumoured to be signed up for the first flights include Tom Hanks, Ashton Kutcher, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, as well as the scientist Stephen Hawking.
During the Cannes film festival last month, one guest paid $1.2m (£772,000) in a charity auction, to sit next to Leonardo DiCaprio on Virgin Galactic.
The SpaceShipTwo will have two pilots who take six passengers to an altitude of 68 miles (109km), where they will be able to see the Earth from space and spend a few minutes experiencing zero gravity.
A ticket costs $250,000 (£161,000).
The rocket is currently being tested and Richard Branson expects to take his family on the first trip later this year.
Justin Bieber was also on Twitter, celebrating reaching a new milestone. He's become the first person to have over 40m followers on the social networking site.
A recent report suggested around 50% of his subscribers were fake accounts.
