Day night cricket at Mahara
The fourth annual Pahala Karagahamuna Premier League, Day and Night Softball Cricket Tournament is scheduled to be played at Mahara Prison ground on December 15 and 16, 2012.
The tournament organized by Pahala Karagahamuna Sports Club says that already they have 26 entries for the tournament.
Priyanta Wijesinghe, Director of MTN and NTN Network and Advisor of Pahala Karagahamuna Sports Club said “In the inaugural tournament we just had 64 players to play in the PPL. By 4 years we are now have 240 players. We are very proud of the progress made within these four years. Our vision is get at least to produce a national cricketer Sri Lanka in coming ten years” said WIjesinghe.
Matches will be played under IPL and the winners will be presented Trophies in addition to cash awards.
