Bharatha’s family members to join Chandrika in politics
During the 2011 Provincial Council elections the Advisor to the President on trade unions and Member of Parliament Baratha Lakshman Premarachandra was assassinated. It has now been decided the family members and relatives of the slain Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra have decided to join former President Chandrika Kumaratunga to do politics.
Although it is learnt that still the government sources help for the Premachandra family, justice has not been meted out to them.
The other day the family members of slain Bharatha had attended the funeral of a leader of Mahajana Mahajana Party Ranjith Nawaratna at Kurunegala where some SLFP stalwarts too had participated. At the funeral the family members had confessed about this fact.
