Woman killed in gas cylinder explosion

A 46-year-old woman was killed in a gas cylinder explosion this morning while she was attending to some work in the kitchen of her two-storey house in near the Elihouse Park in Modera.

The woman was from Jaffna and had been living with her husband in the house. The Modera Police are conducting investigations. (Sanath Desmond)
