Showers expected today
Showers or thundershowers will develop at several places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts during the afternoon or evening.
A few showers can be expected in the Western coastal areas during the morning too.
There may be temporary localized fairly strong winds during thundershowers.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning activities.(Met Dept)
