In information technology survey Sri Lanka occupies 69th spot
In Information Technology Sri Lanka in only behind India in South Asia occupies 69th position from 144 countries.
According to the 2013 International IT (global Networks Readiness Index) Sri Lanka has been placed two positions ahead from the position we were in the previous year.
This has been revealed by the International Economic Society through a survey conducted by an Independent investigation report a number of 144 countries have been taken into consideration and Sri Lanka had emerged as the 69 th position in IT’
During this investigation survey conducted Sri Lanka had become the 71st and hence this year Sri Lanka has climbed up two places. In this classification Pakistan is placed 105th, Bangladesh 114th and Nepal had been in 126th position.
The first place has been obtained by Finland, the second place by Singapore and the third place by Sweden. The Netherlands had come to fourth position while the fifth place has been won by Norway while America is placed at number 10 position.
