CEB is struggling for cash to purchase fuel from the Petroleum Corporation
CEB has no money to buy fuel from the petroleum corporation
As the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has refused the Ceylon Electricity Board to give fuel on credit the CEB sources have quipped that they in the future may not be able to run the electricity generating power plants.
It has been revealed that the CEB would have face severe consequences. The CEB had informed that do not any surplus money to pay for the fuel from the Ceylon petroleum corporation.
It is learnt that the higher officials of the CEB are having talks as to how they could fing money to pay for the fuel needed.
