About 20000 thousand trainee graduates to lose jobs?
According to the new laws that have been formulated by the government out of the 53000 trainee graduated who were recruited about 20000 would lose their jobs revealed by the Secretary of the Graduates Employment society Chandana Suriyarachchi.
A proposal that was formulated by the government itself and via a gazette notification Number 1745/11 had mentioned that the upper age limit is 35 years. With constant training programmes and giving hopes for most graduates their age limits had exceeded 35 years.
Taking these into consideration the unemployed graduates society wants this gazette notification amended as at the year 2012 and allow those who are up to the age of 45 years to be entitled to remain in their present jobs without been dismissed.
