Hotline For Human Rights
The Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission has established a hotline where the public can lodge complaints over human rights related issues.
Four digits Hotline 1996 is open to the general public for their convenience and to inform of any urgent complaints to the commission, the Human Rights Commission in Sri Lanka said.
The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka was established in the year 1996 and therefore this number was selected, the Commission said.
