Muslims in Australia asked to leave
Although Muslims in Australia have been asked to leave, we Sri Lankans would never tell them to leave if they live according to our culture and by not troubling the other communities has been stressed by the Leader of the Hela Urumaya Party Ven.Dr Omalpe Sobitha thera.
The Thera went on to add that are our Buddhist pilgrims including Buddhist monks were attacked in Tamil Nadu we should refrain from visiting Tamil Nadu. Instead there are enough places of worship within the country for the Sri Lankans.
He also stressed that we are not against Halal. But the reason to objecting to it as these Halal products had been tried to be forced on to the Buddhists. The Ven Dr Omalpe Sobitha added these at a Buddhist seminar held near the Ananda College, Colombo
