Main woman racketeer in a tourism trade arrested
Main suspect of a tourism racket has been arrested
The police have arrested a lady suspect for a racket of deserting those who had been taken on a 06 day trip to Bangkok, Thailand.
They have done this business while having a foreign employment agency in Kohuwala.
It is reported that they charge Rs. 75,000/- from each and take them to Bangkok and had deserted them at Pathai area. These tourists have had to come back to Sri Lanka at their own expense.
This agency with the racketeers have been arrested by the OIC Crimes, Kohuwala Police Sub Inspector P B A Sumathipala and the team while they were loading the furniture to a lorry to shift to another place
