kuruwita to get the first ‘Leisure Town’ in Sri Lanka
The first “Leisure Town” in Sri Lanka to be developed in Kuruwita.
Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council has planned to establish the first “Leisure Town” in Sri Lanka close to Kuruvita town on the Colombo – Hambanthota road. This will be established on a 10 acre land and has spent Rs. 930 lakhs so far.
Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council has made arrangements to give new places for the business community who are using this area at the moment. The bus stand with a shopping complex to be constructed spending Rs. 270 lakhs and the 40 shops already constructed spending Rs. 380 lakhs will be given to these businessmen on credit.
This “Leisure Town” is very useful for those who are going to Mattala MRIA , harbour, Badulla, Bandarawela and Sri Padha via Kuruvita.
This “leisure town” will be kept opened during 24 hrs on all 365 days a year.
