IPL Cricketers cautioned-be prepared for an attack of rotten eggs adds the Bodu Bala Sena organisation
The General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena organisation Ven. Galabadaeththe Gnanasara Thera while speaking at the national conference meeting held at Pannala added cautioning our cricketers who are going to participate in the IPL tournament in India.
He stressed that “while Jayalalitha is trying to form an Eelam in Tamil Nadu our cricketers who are going to play in the IPL tournament in India. He had cautioned them to be prepared to remove their clothes when they are attacked with rotten eggs at the BIA. He also added that these cricketers are more interested in bringing bags full of dollars by degrading the status of their country
The cricket has become a game which is ruining the nation. The Bodu Bala Sena organisation has achieved many successes in the recent pass. This year’s New Year will be celebrated with consumer items devoid of ‘Halal’ label. Our organisation is always on a path to bring benefit and laurels to the country. We have won in all of our endeavours. We will never allow stopping our progress.
We do not have any principles against other religions and communities. It is an organisation like that. We are only against extremists.
Minister Rauff Hakeem had suggested having a cabinet meeting to discuss about the activities of our organisations. Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara had made a statement to a English newspaper over the week end suggesting to ban our organisation.
This bearded politician along with some powerful personnel had spoken against our actions. We have never harmed other religions and communities. No Police complaint has been lodged in any Police station”, he stressed.
