House maid made nude beaten by a cane is treated at the Karapitiya hospital
A 45 year old Muslim woman from Lunuwila, Katugoda in Galle had been sent as a house maid to Saudi by a job agency in Maradana area. She had gone to Saudi home on the 14thNovember 2011.
She had been employed as house maid in a house in Saudi Arabia.The lady in the house had undressed her, taken photographs from her mobile phone and had beaten her with cane causing her to get injured with the help of her niece and her husband. She had fled away and had lodged a complaint at a Police station.
The Police had sent her back to Sri Lanka and is at present taking treatment from the Karapitiya hospital..
