Fire at textile store

Weligama Police are investigating a fire which destroyed a hotel and a textile store yesterday, which fortunately did not claim any lives.

 The fire was brought under control by the police, together with residents of the area and the Matara Fire Brigade.

 An electrical leak is being suspected as the cause for the fire.
