Alternate solution for broken wheels of hand tractors explored by Sevanagala farmers

In the Sevanagala area the farmers have explored an alternate method to run their tractors even when the tyres had given way. The farmers have found a method to run their tractors with the aid of a strong wooden pole as shown in the photograph alongside.

It is learnt that there are a number of farmers in Sevanagala who use hand tractors for their transport needs. From this method they could still run their tractors and engage in their farming activities without interruption even without the permanent tyres.

It is a common sight in Sevanagala the manner the farmers continue to run their tractors with the aid of a strong wooden pole fixed to the rim of the wheel.
