� Five children among 8 injured after three-wheeler topples

Eight persons, including 5 children, were injured after a three-wheeler veered off the road and toppled on the Mahaweli Raja Mawatha at Tannekubura, Kandy.
Eight passengers, including 5 children and 2 women, were traveling in the three-wheeler at the time of the accident and have been admitted to the Kandy General Hospital, Ada Derana reporter said.
However, hospital sources said two of the injured are in critical condition.
Thalathuoya Police is conducting investigations into the accident.
