Several roads closed during Colombo Night Races
Several roads near the Galle Face area will be closed from 6pm onwards tomorrow (December 14) and the day after tomorrow (15) in view of the Colombo Night Races.
Chaitya road from the Harbour to Janadhipathi Mawatha, Bank of Ceylon Mawatha junction to Clock tower roundabout, Reegal roundabout, Seenor junction and Galle Face roundabout will be closed during this time police stated.
Justice Akbar Mawatha, Malay street junction, Gamini roundabout and Kollupitiya junction will be closed to heavy vehicles during this time.
The traffic police have advised drivers to seek alternate routes in and out of Colombo.
The Colombo Night Races will be held on Saturday (December 15) while the practice runs will be held tomorrow (14).
