Youth Fest Srilanka 2012
Starting with a fresh spirit, Youth Fest organizers are geared with continuing our adventure towards Youth Fest 2012. We have taken our ideas and feedback from previous festival to articulate the concept for Youth Fest 2012.
It’s time for youth to celebrate “youth” it’s time to show what you’ve got.
Youth Fest 2012 will create a celebrative environment providing space and freedom for youth to showcase their talent, impact on society and to open up themselves in to a world of new opportunities. We will learn from each other to grow bigger and better. With all our energy, emotions and attitudes let us celebrate ‘youth’
This year we will focus areas such as personal development, volunteer leadership, entrepreneurship and citizenship. One unique element of Youth Fest 2012 will be the showcase time where we will provide opportunities for successful young individuals to tell their story on areas they excelled. This could be in volunteerism, entrepreneurial initiative, musical & artistic innovation or any nature of impactful initiative. We will inspire more youth to become who they want and to lead a change whilst learning to live together.
Personal development will cover key areas such as self discovery, team work, employability, grooming, etc.
We intend to bring young resources personals as much as possible to deliver knowledge as we want this to be a festival where youth inspires youth.
Festival will have indoor and outdoor interactive plenary and break-out sessions, workshops, on-going competition, talent shows, care centers, theme nights and many more attractions. A celebrative environment will be created all throughout the festival to align its atmosphere with the conference theme.
Key targets for Youth Fest 2012
Number of residential delegates – 250 (Including 50 International delegates).
Number of nights/days – 2 nights/3 days (Friday afternoon-Sunday eve)
Venue – MAS Institute of Management Training -Thulhiriya
