A housemaide’s head and body sent from Lebanon to BIA
A house maid had been cut and chopped in Lebanon-body parts sent to BIA
A house maid who had gone to Lebanon as a expatriate house made had been cut into pieces and the severed parts of the body had been sent to the BIA on the day before yesterday the 5th.
A post mortem on the house maid was made by the Negombo’s Judicial medical officer Dr Keerthi Sirijayantha Wickremaratna had requested the Katunayake Police to bring the suspects before our courts on the sixth.
The deceased has been identified as a 32 year old spinster Dileeka Madhushani from Kaduwawa area in Mahawa North. It is learnt that she had been a number of times as an expatriate worker and during the last period she had lived in a rented out room, had been working at a number of houses. Her roommate had informed the Police that she was missing from the 21st of last month.
The Police had found a dead body in parts at a garbage yard on the 26th.The house maids remains had contained only her head and her trunk when sent to BIA. Further investigations are been conducted
