Malani Fonseka's Home Rental Case
Colombo District Additional Majistrate Sandun Withana today ordered veteran actress Malini Fonseka to appear before court today.
The court order was issued when a case filed against her for having failed to pay rent for an apartment in Bambalapitiya was taken up.
According to the charges being held against veteran actress Malini Fonseka, an apartment had been obtained in 2006 by the actress.
Following the expiration of her agreement Malini Fonseka had requested for an additional two year period to which the management of the apartment complex had consented.
Accordingly Director of the apartment complex Jagath Kumara Perera notes that actress Fonseka had failed to honour the agreement by failing to pay the rent.
The petitioner requests of court issue a judgement seeking reimbursement from the veteran actress.
